LWB offers a full line of products and services to meet the most demanding flow control requirements. For more than 20 years, LWB has supplied flow control products and developed the capability to offer complete package solutions.
Refactory Products
- Sliding gate refractory plates and nozzles for the FloCon 3150, 4200 and 6300, Interstop 2QC, M&P, Krosaki, 25DWU, and 25DAK Rotary systems. Refractory qualities include high-fired alumina, high-fired high-purity magnesia, carbon-bonded high alumina zirconia, high-fired alumina zirconia, high-fired magnesia-spinel and high-fired magnesia zirconia spinel.
- 1-piece and 2-piece inner nozzles and well blocks – pressed, rammed or cast.
- Flow control accessories, including tooling, mortars, sealants, lubricants, bore-fill sands, etc.
Ladles sliding gate mechanisms
- All mechanical and hydraulic equipment required for 3150, 4200 and 6300 FloCon (series II), Interstop 2QC and M&P.
- LWB's PyroGate sliding gate system: In 2005, LWB Refractories introduced the PyroGate system for North American steelmakers. It is an improved sliding gate system that provides reductions in maintenance and operating costs, as well as improved worker safety, at a fraction of the cost for installing the "New Generation" systems. In most cases, current FloCon (3150, 4200 and 6300) users are able to utilize existing levelling plates and drive trains.
